Wintery pizza: Pizza with oranges and olives

Orange Olive Pizza
It’s 2014 and the pizza adventures continue. This time with a very wintery version – even though it’s almost 10°C here in Germany – oranges and olives!

I just remember that I saw a recipe for this pizza somewhere (no idea where exactly) and was thrilled to try it out at immediately. There are oranges, green and black olives involved, so kind of Mediterranean winter I guess.
Pizza Olives Oranges
Start off with the usual pizza base and work some chopped green olives into the dough.

Then spread some soy cream as a sauce on the pizza base. For the topping you need 1 (organic) orange and some black olives as well as some herbes de provence.
Olive Orange Pizza
Peel the orange and cut it into slices. Make sure to get off all of the white stuff (the skin?), cause this will get bitter when baking. Trust me, I had to painfully make this experience…

Put the orange slices and the olives on the pizza and dust with some herbes de provence.

Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Take out of the oven, let cool down a little bit and enjoy!
