This is a dish that I’ve wanted to try out for soooooo long! It’s nothing difficult, but actually super easy, super fast and just the right thing you need when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen but still want something a little bit fancy.
I saw many fotos of this dish on Pinterest and lately also on Tomateninsel , so you can surely understand why this has inspired me so much…
Anna and I actually did this dish together when she came to visit. We had many things to catch up on so the one pat pasta was perfect for us.
Here’s what you need for two people
250g pasta of your choice
one can of chopped tomatoes or 4 big tomatoes
a hand full of basil leaves
1 tsp of salt
2 garlic cloves
250-500ml of water (depends on your choice of pasta)
Chop the onion and peel the garlic cloves, then put everything in a really big pot.
Heat it until it starts boiling. Let simmer on a low temperature until the pasta is al dente. If you haven’t put enough water in the beginning, you may need to add some water before the pasta will start to scorch. Enjoy!
